Features

Everything happening in your app, finally visible

Video replays, funnels, dashboards and crashes: everything you need to understand your users.

Watch every session as a video

Replay a user’s session like a video: every screen and every tap, in order, to understand what made them drop off.

Funnels to see where it stalls

Chain the steps of a journey, from sign-up to paywall, and spot the one where your users drop off.

Build your own dashboards

Pick an event, a filter and a period: the chart shows up and joins the dashboard of your choice, next to the others.

Every crash, with its context

Crashes are grouped by cause, with the stack trace, the devices and versions hit, and the session that led to it.

How it works

The Analytics module in 3 steps

  1. Install the SDK

Once the SDK is in, installs, updates, sessions and screens viewed are tracked automatically.

  2. Track your events

Track every action you want to follow (onboarding completed, paywall viewed, purchase…). The data shows up in appwin right away.

  3. Build your dashboards

Lay out your dashboards the way you want, choosing which data to show and the format that speaks to you.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Analytics

The module that records your app's screens and key actions, then turns them into charts, funnels, retention by cohort and dashboards. Session replays and crashes complete the picture.

They measure well, but on their own. In appwin, your analytics live next to your revenue, your support and your notifications: one account, one SDK, and no taxonomy to manage.

Add the Analytics module to Appwin Core, then call initialize() when the app starts. No external account: events land in your project. The Analytics guide covers each platform.

Installs, updates and sessions, without a line of code. On the web, every page opened is recorded too. You only declare screens and your business events.

setConsent() follows their choice: while pending, events stay on the device without being sent; when denied, nothing is collected and the queue is cleared.

Events wait in a queue on the device and go out when the network is back. Sending is automatic: every 30 seconds, from 20 events, or when the app goes to the background.

Our tips to get the most out of your analytics

Find your key action, and measure the time to reach it

The “aha moment” is when users grasp the value on offer. Find it and do everything to shorten the time to reach it! It is often a very direct retention lever.

Choose the right events to track

Thirty or so events that answer your real questions beat hundreds of clicks tracked “just in case”.

The funnel says where, the replay says why

Before making decisions, watch a few videos of sessions dropped at the failing step: some things numbers just can’t show!

One dashboard, one question

Build each dashboard around a single question (“is the onboarding working?”). A screen that answers one question reads in 10 seconds; a catch-all screen no longer reads at all.

Watch every update

After each release, compare it with the previous one on your key steps and crashes, to quickly spot any regression.
